Suffield states they were founded in 1998, but there is no record of them until 2003. Their website doesn’t list the number of its alumni. They do not tell when asked. They have the following verifiable accreditation: NDLAC. They have no verifiable 3rd party memberships. Their reviewers are not certified by the NAOAA or any other organization.

They took four days to reply and wrote back saying only this: “Our faculty takes your resume and life experience into account in making that decision.”
Approval Process
When I applied, they denied my application based on the Dairy Queen experience. Here is what they wrote: “sorry you were declined into our program. You did not fill out the application with enough information to demonstrate the knowledge to be approved into our program. If you would like to reapply please do so at www.suffielduniversity.vom.” Notice that they didn’t capitalize “sorry” and that they mistyped .com as “.vom.” So that’s pretty sloppy. Anyway, I reapplied on 10/11/06, using my real resume. On 10/13, I received an email saying I’m approved.
Bogus Approvals
Did the college accept my factitious and negligible 7-word description of my life experiences? No. They said, “sorry you were declined into our program. I also had problems with them. I wrote on 11/25 and again on 11/29 and still hadn’t received the package or a reply. On 11/30, they wrote: “We are sorry for the confusion. We were working with UPS to have your package delivered to the changed address. We are now going to reprint your documents and reship them ASAP. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience.” I received the package on 12/7 and wrote on 12/8 asking for a refund. I got this reply on 12/10: “Sorry you are past the refund period. Joel” I wrote them back, pointing out I just got the package. On 12/11, this is their final reply: “The address mixup was your fault, and you are past the refund period. Joel”
