Hill University — Better Business Bureau Problems

Update – January 2012

Hill has begun to go the way of Belford and Rochville — under the radar due to continued problems. I’ve reported on this a number of times in the past but the latest out of the Pakistan-based Alias group is that they’ve put Hill University on the back burner. Virtually an exact duplicate of Belford University and Lorenz University, Hill University is beginning to show its scars. A number of reports to the Better Business Bureau have gone unanswered by this University.

In keeping with the strategy of the Alias group, providing quality products to students is very low on their agenda. Their biggest concern is numbers. Hill University was a big moneymaker for the Alias group for a couple of years. however, continued complaints have warranted The Alias Group to create some new carbon copies.

The three newest additions of this United Arab Emirates-based group of websites are Panworld University, Headway University and McFord University. It is these three new websites that The Alias Group is now investing in. They have withdrawn financial expenditure for marketing Hill University.

After speaking with several people at the Better Business Bureau, I discovered that multiple complaints about this “University” simply have not been posted anywhere on the Better Business Bureau website. The reason?

“Our focus and goal is to report on institutions based in the United States. This institution is neither based in the United States, nor have we been able to find a business address or office within the United States. Our calls have been answered by a customer service group in Pakistan. All of their Internet activity and contact information is disguised or hidden.”

They went on to explain that Hill University is a clone of Belford University. Therefore the Better Business Report on Belford University should provide the needed information.

That information is as follows:

Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of F on a scale from A+ to F. Reasons for this F rating include:

* 173 complaints filed against business
* Failure to respond to 172 complaints filed against business

There are 172 unanswered complaints about Belford University. Since it is the same exact University as Hill University, you can also say that there have been 172 unanswered complaints about Hill University.

The newest additions, Panworld University, Headway University and McFord University, will eventually fade away just like Hill University and the Alias Group will simply come out with three new websites.

Refunds

They DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. Their AFTER THE SALE service is non-existent. This is why they have such a horrible reputation.
