About Me

My Name is Madison. I was born on February 12, 1974 in a small Air Force hospital in Hashimara, located in West Bengal India. My Air Force father was stationed nearby and I spent the next 18 years of my life all over India, the United States, and the U.K. I had the pleasure of attending 9 schools to complete 12 years of schooling. I started my education in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. When I was in 7th grade, my father was assigned to Eglin and I spent the next 6 years going to school in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The kids were all very nice to me even though I spoke with a slight accent from being educated in India during the early years of my life. Although occasionally I sensed some prejudices, I looked like an American and I had little difficulty adjusting. I found school to be much easier in Florida than in India. I was so surprised how little homework the kids got compared to the 4+ hours of homework assigned to me every day when I was in India.

When I was in 11th grade, my father was relocated to RAF Lakenheath, (in the UK). Rather than moving, I stayed in Florida and lived with a friend my senior year of High School and graduated 4th in my class. During high school, I held several part time jobs including working at fast food restaurants and waiting tables.

After High School, I spent a year in London studying International Relations at the London School of Economics.

When I returned to the USA in 1993, I reconnected with my high school boyfriend. We married in 1994 and on February 12, 1996 (on MY birthday), I gave birth to beautiful baby boy.

I was a stay at home mom until my son was 6 (first grade). At that time I returned to the workforce as an assistant manager at a popular fast food restaurant where I worked during high school. In 2003, I was promoted to store manager and was transferred twice within the district to manage other stores.

On June 1, 2006, I was promoted to district manager overseeing 9 stores with combined annual revenue of over $15 million.

Although I am very busy as you would assume, I enjoy corresponding with people. If you want to contact me, please feel free to e-mail me at the address I have listed below.

That’s all,

Madison
